Akanksha Dadlani, MD, MPH

Adult, Child & Adolescent Psychiatry

I am a Bay Area native who recently returned home to pursue fellowship in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at Stanford (Class of 2027). I previously spent several years in Ohio completing a six-year BS/MD program, where I also earned an MPH with a focus on the effects of social determinants of health. While in medical school, I served as CEO of our student-run free clinic, led COVID-19 return-to-clinic protocol development including the transition from paper charts to an electronic medical record, and implemented social determinants of health screening.
My interests include precision psychiatry, sports and performance psychiatry, tech-enabled mental health interventions, and the ethical implementation of AI in clinical settings. I am particularly passionate about building and evaluating tools that enhance access, equity, and engagement in psychiatric care.
I have been a Doximity Digital Health Fellow for five years, since their inaugural class. I am also a Stanford Brainstorm Fellow, where I’ve contributed to the development of a Social Media Safety Plan and an AI Safety Plan for youth mental health.
